    WORLD RECIPES - Pineapple Ring Pudding

Source Country: Malaysia
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
30 g agar agar
40 oz water
12 oz sugar
12 oz combined pineapple and fruit cocktail juice
16 oz evaporated milk
1 large can of fruit cocktail
5 cans pineapple rings
Red and green cherries
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (flavoring)

Preparation:

  1. Boil agar agar till dissolved. Add sugar, vanilla and fruit juice. When boiling, add an evaporated milk and remove from heat.
  2. Allow to cool a little before pouring into prepared mold.
  3. To prepare mold: Assemble pineapple ring in round mold. Stud cherry ( red and green alternating) on pineapple rings. Slowly pour in agar agar mixture and fruit cocktail.
  4. Allow to set and chill in refrigerator before serving.
